Rolf Gloor’s journey with Infront Assetmax began swiftly and decisively. "It was love at first sight," Rolf remarked. "We had a presentation in the morning and signed the contract by the afternoon." This decision was the beginning of a partnership that has greatly benefited Winterthur Consulting Group.

Adapting to a Changing Landscape

Founded in 2007, Winterthur Consulting Group has grown to 15 employees, advising clients throughout Switzerland. "To manage market-relevant and regulatory requirements, scalable IT became indispensable," Rolf noted. In 2014, facing the impending introduction of FINMA regulations, the firm sought a robust portfolio management system, leading them to Assetmax from Infront.

Seamless Transition and Success

The decision to choose Assetmax from Infront proved to be a timely and strategic move. Rolf recalled how their journey with Assetmax from Infront began in 2019, with their project going live on 1 January 2020. The timing proved fortuitous. "From March, when the global health situation changed dramatically, it was a lucky decision to have Assetmax," Rolf shared. "Being web-based and having shifted our entire IT infrastructure to the cloud allowed us to switch to remote work seamlessly."

Leveraging Advanced Technology

Rolf emphasized the significant evolution from traditional systems to modern, data-driven solutions. "Nowadays, it’s hard to imagine a financial professional's daily life without modern financial information systems," Rolf stated. Infront Assetmax’s integration with various data sources and its ability to automate processes has been crucial. 
 

Winterthur Consulting Group now also uses Infront's curated data catalogue together with Assetmax and can thus exploit corresponding synergies.

Pioneering New Interfaces

Winterthur Consulting Group was a pilot client for the OpenWealth order interface with Zürcher Kantonalbank. This interface allows for seamless data acquisition and trade execution directly within Assetmax, significantly streamlining operations. "We are proud to have contributed to this success," Rolf said.

Continuous Improvement and Compliance Success

Assetmax from Infront has supported Winterthur Consulting Group in achieving regulatory compliance. "This year’s AML and code of conduct revision passed with flying colours also thanks to Assetmax!", Rolf proudly shared.
 

Rolf also highlighted future aspirations, including the integration of proprietary signals into Infront Assetmax and expanding order placement interfaces with other custodian banks. "Eliminating the need for manual processes between disconnected systems reduces errors and increases efficiency," he noted.
