Ramsey Crookall, the Isle of Man’s longest-established independent firm of stockbrokers and investment managers, have been using Infront’s market data and trading solutions for over six years.
Approximately 7,000 clients turn to Ramsey Crookall for trade execution, advisory stockbroking and discretionary investment management with approximately 2.5 billion GBP assets under administration. Additionally, Ramsey Crookall’s offering includes a low cost investment solution for people who want to invest smaller sums monthly from as little as 100 GBP per month.
Besides the office in Douglas on the Isle of Man, Ramsey Crookall have a sales office in Cape Town, South Africa where their clientele is mainly B2B.

Ramsey Crookall began their journey with Infront when they were looking to invest in a new market data and trading system. Their previous software supplier was planning to replace their trading technology with a system they felt was inferior to the one they were using. RSP trading functionality
Many of the Ramsey Crookall staff including investment managers work with terminals from Infront to access market data, prices, graphs, charts and more. The trading team uses the Infront Trading solution with the RSP trading functionality to be able to trade on the market. The team is happy with the RSP functionality, getting access to a good range of market makers on the network, and good execution.
Impact on operational efficiency
The biggest impact Ramsey Crookall has experienced through using the Infront solution is the time they have saved by having the information they need at their fingertips.

“It’s a very robust system. If we do have a problem, it’s normally resolved pretty quickly by dropping an email to the support desk.”
